ERTMS Simulator training

The European train security system ERTMS is installed on a growing number of Dutch railroads. With us, you train on an advanced 3D ERTMS simulator that provides a very realistic and detailed image of the practice to the train drivers. With standard scenarios or customized scenarios. This simulator training is, different from ERMTS Level 1 and 2, specifically oriented towards practicing with the system.

The scenarios are also tailor-made. That is how you respond to the actuality from your sector and to specific learning objectives. To this end, we can also use our standard scenarios on existing tracks, such as the Port Railway, the Betuwe Route and the track Amsterdam – Utrecht.

The ERTMS rail simulator is the educational instrument to obtain the maximum learning return. Because by practicing interruptions and calamities in a safe environment, the train driver can act decisively when in a comparable situation happens in reality.

In the case of tailor-made trainings the programme is even more adjusted to reality, such as new, risky situations in your area. Examples of topics are transitions between ERTMS and ATB and security communication between the train driver and the train supervisor.

This course is especially suitable for train drivers and other railway employees that actively use the ERTMS system.

This training is normally developed for transporters of entities with train drivers that already have an ERTMS certification. It is also possible to put focus on security communication. For that certification is not a requirement.
