Shunter (fully licensed)

You are already working at a rail company or you want to work there. You want to be able to work as a shunter at any site, with passenger or freight trains, or both.  With this course, you are fully prepared for your exam at the VVRV in ten days. Your teacher is an experienced rail specialist and someone who will teach you the ins and outs of the profession. Therefore, besides learning all exam components, you will also be optimally prepared for all challenges of your profession on the job.

At the end of this course:

• you are ready for the exam at the VVRV
• you add value on each marshalling yard. At centrally secured and non-centrally secured station tracks and connecting lines you can effortless and safely:
  – execute shunting manoeuvres together with the train driver
  – composing and splitting vehicles
  – execute controls on equipment and cargo
  – taking brake tests

Everyone who wants to qualify as fully licensed shunter can participate in this course. Please keep the entry requirements from the VVRV in mind.
