Team leader emergency response officer (ERO)

In every working environment safety risks exist: a co-worker can feel unwell or a fire can occur caused by short circuits for example. Emergency Response Officers have been trained to provide proper care in dangerous situations. Every employer is required to provide decent Emergency Response and therefore appoint several EROs. The team leader is there to guide the EROs in case of a calamity. This course is taught conform educational profile for team leader emergency response officer, as has been indicated in the Working Conditions Act and the Recognitions Regulation for the Dutch Institute for Emergency Response Officer (NIBHV).

During the course for team leader emergency response officer you follow the educational profile as has been indicated in the Working Conditions Act and the Recognitions Regulation for the Dutch Institute for Emergency Response Officer (NIBHV). It is an alternating mix of theory and practice.

• guiding of deployment
• evacuation
• communication procedures
• you finish the course with a theoretical exam and a practical deployment.

At the end of this course:

• you contribute to the safety of your organisation
• you can take charge of the emergency response officers in the case of a calamity
• you know what to do in case of evacuation
• you are able to let communication progress by means of the right procedures

As team leader you would like to take charge over a group of emergency response officers in case of a calamity and as such contribute to the safety of your organisation.

The exam is conducted by an external party (NIBHV). The exam costs are therefore not included in the course price. You will receive a separate invoice for the exam costs.
