With the ADN Basic Declaration Dry Cargo / Tank Vessels, a skipper with a tanker and with a dry cargo ship may transport dangerous goods by inland waterways. The ADN Basic Declaration on Dry Cargo / Tank Vessels is recognized by the CCV / CBR and prepares you for the exam.
For the transport of dangerous goods by inland waterways of the EU, rules and agreements as included in the ADN are applicable. Among other things, the ADN states that, depending on the load, a person on board (the skipper) must be on board who is in possession of the ADN Basic Declaration Dry Cargo / Tank Vessels. This certificate is valid for five years. The certificate can be extended one year before the expiration date after following the refresher course.
The theoretical part of this course is done in class. The practical part takes place at the Fire & Safety Training Centre. The content of the course is aligned with the final terms of the ADN:
